A performative installation, starting from the kaomoji sometimes referred to as ‘table flipper’, which is used through digital mediums in japan and word wide as an expression of frustration or anger. The installation consisted initially of a somewhat abstract sculpture. Unannounced during the exhibition opening, the sculpture was cut apart using an angle grinder, and rearranged into furniture - a table and chair and a lamp. At this point I sat at the table and wrote/distributed a series of messages on postcards.
